The two hour guided walking tour, will cover the island and it's history and mystery, visiting popular sites like; the swamp, 10x, the money pit area and Smith's Cove. This smaller tour will give fans a greater ability to ask questions of the tour guide. You will also have a chance to learn more in-depth facts at the Interpretive Centre. Many people ask if they will meet the cast of the show on a tour, and the answer is only by chance.
Semi-Private tours are booked on a first come first serve basis. Familys can purchase up to 6 tickets with one booking. This reservation system is first come first serve with 50 tickets (only). Each booking will require the names of the individuals at time of booking. There will be one voucher per booking, which must be presented at the time of the tour. There will be no opportunity to change the date, so please book the date you can attend. The fee is $30 for adults and $15 for kids 15 and under, plus hst and online service fees. TICKETS ARE NON-TRANSFERRABLE.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time. The Centre is a fully accessible building. Please note the only public washroom on the island is at the beginning and end of the two hour tour.
Oak Island Tour Guides are a hardy lot, the only reason they would not conduct a tour would be hurricane or thunder and lightening. Please bring appropriate layers, sunscreen, insect repellant and even energy bars. Water can be puchased at the Centre.
